Sea Otters were almost extinct in southern Vancouver Island region but valiant conservation efforts have revived their once dwindling population. Nowadays, sea otters can be found in droves off the island's west coast. Rarely, however, do they venture to southern, more populated regions around Victoria, BC. This photograph is dedicated to commemorating the conservation efforts of this cardinal native species.

As the midday sun breaks through overcast skies, the historical seaside town of Whitby comes to life, offering a cascading scene of English infrastructure nestled under the cliffs atop which the ruins of Whitby's famous abby rests.

Sheer cliffs of white limestone line the periphery of England's southern coast. As waves awash their base, slowly eroding their ever-imposing edificial presence, rolling green pasture blankets their crest as two unknown figures meander southwards in pursuit of the sun.
